Accessibility statement
Version 2026-10-17-standard-stripe · All legal documents
1. Our aim
We want everyone to be able to upload, share, present and view decks with Lumdeck, whether they use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or a phone. We are working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, for the website and the app. Lumdeck does not claim full conformance yet.
2. What we do
- Every change runs automated checks for accessible names on controls; browser tests run the axe accessibility engine on key screens.
- The interface uses high-contrast colours (all sampled text at least 7:1), visible focus outlines and full keyboard operation for the core journey.
- Inline links are underlined; motion is limited and respects reduced-motion settings.
3. Known gaps
- Some dialogs and menus do not yet return focus or announce changes consistently.
- Some scrollable areas, small hit targets and heading levels on secondary screens need work.
- Live sessions update the current slide without a screen-reader announcement.
- Decks are made by their authors. Lumdeck displays them as uploaded and cannot make an inaccessible deck accessible; ask the person who shared it for an accessible version.
We fix these as part of regular releases and update this statement when we do.
4. Feedback and help
If something in Lumdeck is hard to use with your setup, tell us at office@kinesislab.ai: the page, what you tried and the assistive technology you use. We reply within five business days and can provide information from Lumdeck in another format on request.
5. About this statement
Prepared on 3 October 2026 from automated tests and a manual review of the main screens.
