What changed in Lumdeck

Every customer-visible change, as it ships. Follow it in a feed reader with the Atom feed.
  1. Production signup, billing and clearer publishing guidance

    • Lumdeck is available at lumdeck.com with email or Google signup. New workspace owners verify their email and confirm a payment method for a 30-day trial at Free limits, followed by the chosen paid plan unless cancelled. Existing accounts keep their access.
    • Production billing uses fixed USD and EUR list prices through Stripe. Quietstack OÜ is the seller; workspace members invited by an owner do not need their own payment method.
    • Public help now distinguishes view totals, aggregate slide engagement and Team link breakdowns. It explains that anonymous viewing does not identify a person.
    • Sharing help now gives the exact steps for editing existing links, including passwords, expiry, view limits and allowed embed sites, with the applicable plan requirements.
    • About, Examples and an indexable sample introduction make it easier to understand Lumdeck before opening the interactive viewer. The product journal collects these dated release notes.
    • Public MCP instructions show how to connect an existing workspace key in Claude Code or Cursor. Pro and Team retain the full workspace configuration panels.
    • Production privacy and cookie explanations describe the live service. Optional Google Analytics and Meta measurement remains consent-based and separate from audience viewers.
  2. The product is called Lumdeck

    • The customer-facing name is Lumdeck. Kinesis Lab is still the maker. "Present" remains the word for showing a deck.
  3. Deck size

    • A deck on Free can be up to 25 MB. A deck on Pro or Team can be up to 50 MB.
    • Signed-in upload takes one HTML file or a zip, at that size. One HTML file with no account stays at 10 MB.
  4. Help centre, use cases and an honest scope page

    • A public help centre with eleven articles: getting decks out of Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Marp, Slidev and reveal.js, what an upload may contain, share links, live sessions, analytics, roles, billing and your data.
    • A contact form on the help centre that works without an account.
    • Pages for the three main uses: AI-made decks, HTML slide frameworks and live presenting.
    • What Lumdeck does and does not do: the list of things Lumdeck does not do yet, and why, including no malware scan, no watermark, no right-to-left interface and no check on every request.
    • A security page: sandboxed viewer, checked uploads, revoke within 30 seconds.
    • Pro and Team links can be embedded on websites you name. Other sites are refused.
    • A public sample deck, real product screens on the home page and link previews for every public page.
    • llms.txt for AI assistants and agents that read the site.
  5. Google sign-in, deck pictures and the API

    • Continue with Google on the sign-in and sign-up pages.
    • Every deck gets a picture of its first slide in the library, on the deck page, in Shared and the gallery, and in link previews of open share links.
    • Publish from AI agents and scripts: workspace API keys, a REST API and a remote MCP server, with Settings → API & MCP.
    • Plans per workspace (Free, Pro, Team) and an admin console for support.
    • Account settings: profile, sessions, data download, privacy requests and account deletion.
    • Faster first opens of share links and the viewer.
    • Dialogs return keyboard focus to the button that opened them, and inline links are underlined.
  6. First version

    • Upload a single HTML file or a zip; every bundle is checked and every version kept.
    • Decks run in a sandboxed viewer on a separate web address.
    • Share links: anyone with the link, password, e-mail code or named people, with expiry, view limits and revoke.
    • Present mode and live sessions where viewers follow your slides.
    • Per-slide analytics without cookies, notifications and search.
