Host a Marp HTML deck
Export Marp to HTML, bundle local images and verify the shared result.
Export the Marp deck as HTML and upload that HTML to Lumdeck. If the export references local files, package it with those files as a ZIP instead.
Export and upload
npx @marp-team/marp-cli@latest slides.md -o index.html- Open the export locally and check its content.
- For a self-contained file, upload
index.htmldirectly. - For local images or fonts, place them at the relative paths used by the HTML and ZIP the folder.
- Upload, inspect the validation report and preview the result.
A PDF or PowerPoint export is not an HTML deck. Lumdeck does not convert it. Keep the editable Markdown and any custom theme outside Lumdeck as your source copy.
Verify navigation
Marp's generated navigation and themes can vary. Confirm that slide changes appear in Lumdeck's surrounding indicator before expecting per-slide totals. If positions are not detected, use the deck protocol or treat the available analytics as deck-level information.
Share and revise
Choose the share-link protection, expiry and download permission appropriate to your audience. Allowing original downloads is off by default; downloaded files run outside Lumdeck's hosted sandbox. Upload revisions as new versions of the same presentation to keep current-version links working.
