Lumdeck and DocSend for sharing decks
Choose a document-sharing workflow or host the interactive HTML you already built.
Use DocSend when your workflow centres on supported office documents and document engagement. Consider Lumdeck when your finished deck is interactive HTML and you want to preserve its scripts, animations and controls within the hosted sandbox.
Start with the file you have
| Need | DocSend | Lumdeck |
|---|---|---|
| Existing office document | Documents PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote support | Requires HTML or an HTML ZIP; no office-file conversion |
| Link controls and engagement | Provides configurable links and per-page viewing information | Provides link protection, expiry, revocation and deck/per-slide analytics |
| Custom interactive HTML | Confirm the exact file and interaction requirements with DocSend | Designed to host validated HTML bundles |
| Create or edit the deck | Check the relevant authoring workflow | Make edits in your source tool and upload a new version |
DocSend also describes data rooms, agreements and watermarking. Lumdeck does not provide a watermark, SAML/SCIM or an uptime-credit agreement. These can matter more than animation support for a fundraising process.
Try the actual delivery
Test an example with the person who will receive it. Check mobile rendering, any required email verification, original-download policy and whether analytics meet your needs. A share link is an access control, not a way to prevent screenshots or redistribution of visible content.
