Lumdeck, Pitch and Gamma
Choose an authoring workspace or hosting for an existing HTML deck.
Pitch and Gamma provide presentation creation and sharing workflows. Lumdeck is useful after the deck exists as HTML: it hosts the file, preserves supported interaction and provides controlled links and analytics.
Match the job
| Workflow | Starting point | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Pitch | Create and collaborate on presentations in its workspace | Sharing permissions, required plan and recipient experience |
| Gamma | Create a presentation and share it or use its supported export formats | Which export preserves the behavior you need |
| Lumdeck | Bring an HTML file or HTML ZIP from your tool | Bundle validation, mobile performance and slide detection |
Gamma's export documentation lists PDF, PNG and PowerPoint. Those files cannot be uploaded as HTML to Lumdeck. Do not rename an exported PDF or PPTX to .html; ask your source tool for a real HTML presentation or use its own sharing link.
Pitch provides public-access and collaborator-sharing controls. It is not accurate to assume every recipient must create an account. Verify the particular share mode you intend to use rather than comparing products on that assumption.
A practical evaluation
Use the same small deck and recipient device in each workflow. Compare edits, animations, charts, access controls and reporting. Lumdeck has no slide editor, document conversion, watermark or SAML/SCIM. If those are requirements, an authoring or document platform may fit better.
