Workspaces, members and roles
Owners, admins, editors and viewers, and who can see which deck.
Everything in Lumdeck belongs to a workspace: presentations, links, members, the plan and its bill. You can belong to several workspaces and switch between them.
Roles
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing, deleting the workspace and transferring ownership. |
| Admin | Manage members, invitations and workspace settings, plus everything an editor can do. |
| Editor | Upload, edit, version, share and present decks; see analytics on their own decks. |
| Viewer | Browse the library and gallery, open decks and join live sessions. |
Who sees which deck
- Workspace decks are visible to every member. New uploads start here.
- Only people invited decks are visible to the uploader, admins, owners and the people they are shared with by name.
Roles apply to the whole workspace; there are no per-folder roles.
Inviting people
Admins and owners invite people by e-mail from Settings → Members. The invitation works for an existing account or a new one. The number of members depends on your plan.
People outside the workspace
To show a deck to someone outside, use a share link or share it with them by name. Neither gives them access to the workspace. See share links.
