What is Lumdeck?
Lumdeck is a web service for hosting and sharing interactive HTML presentations. Upload HTML made with an AI tool, a slide framework or your editor, then share controlled links and review plan-based engagement reports. Quietstack OÜ, Estonia operates Lumdeck.
Is Lumdeck the same as LumaDeck?
The product on this website is Lumdeck, spelled with a “u”. It hosts interactive HTML presentations at lumdeck.com. This site does not represent similarly named products or companies. See About Lumdeck and our company details.
What can I upload?
A single HTML file or a ZIP containing index.html and supported assets. See bundle rules.
Does Lumdeck create slides?
No. Create them in your AI tool, framework or editor, then upload the result. See scope.
Can I upload PowerPoint or PDF?
Lumdeck does not convert PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides or PDF. Use a real HTML export or your source tool's sharing workflow.
Do viewers need an account?
Anyone-with-the-link shares do not require one. Named access and other protected modes have different checks; see share links.
Can I password-protect a link?
Yes. Create a password-protected link and send the password separately when appropriate.
Can I require email verification?
Yes. Email-code links ask the recipient to verify their mailbox. This is different from creating a Lumdeck account.
Can a link expire?
Yes. Set expiry when creating the link, or open Share → Edit beside an existing, unrevoked link and change Expiration (your local time). On Pro and Team, you can also set or change Maximum views there. Choose Save link to apply the changes. Clear either field to remove that limit, or revoke the link to stop access. See share links.
Does revocation instantly erase a downloaded file?
No. Revocation controls hosted access. It cannot recall copies, screenshots or previously downloaded originals.
Can viewers see each other's viewing statistics?
The audience share viewer does not expose your workspace analytics or a list of other viewers. Authorised workspace members can access analytics according to their permissions.
Are downloads enabled by default?
Original downloads are off by default. Enabling them gives recipients the original bundle, outside the hosted sandbox.
Are uploads scanned for malware?
Not by an antivirus engine. Lumdeck validates files and isolates hosted decks; read the limits on Security and Scope.
Can a deck read my Lumdeck account?
Hosted decks run on a separate origin in a sandbox. They cannot read the surrounding account page or its cookies.
Can a deck use any external service?
No. The viewer applies network and file restrictions. Package required assets locally and check the validation report.
How does slide tracking work?
Recognised frameworks or supported slide events identify the current slide. Check analytics and the protocol for custom decks.
Do deck analytics use cookies?
Lumdeck's deck-view analytics are counted without cookies and respect Do Not Track. Optional marketing-site analytics have separate consent choices.
Is Free permanent for new workspaces?
New card-based registrations receive a 30-day Free trial starting after email verification and confirmed card setup, then automatically continue on the selected paid plan unless cancelled. Trial limits are 3 presentations, 2 members, 500 MB storage, 25 MB per deck and 30 days of view totals. Existing grandfathered Free workspaces keep their previous allowance.
What happens at a limit?
The app shows a limit-reached message and prevents further operations that exceed it. See plans and billing for expiry and upgrade behavior.
Are prices per person?
Plans are per workspace; viewers are free. Check pricing for the current fixed USD/EUR prices, member limits and tax treatment.
Do updates keep the same link?
Links following the current version do. A pinned version stays fixed until it is removed; retention is 3 versions on Free, 20 on Pro and all on Team.
How do I get help or remove my data?
Use Contact or Account → Support. Data export and account deletion are described in Your data, and storage locations are in the privacy notice.
